MANIFEST II

LOVE JUNKIE

I'm a junkie for your love.
As a perfect copy of myself
I can be found
On your record turntable
And frozen poetry
On your wall.

In the coldness
Of loneliness
You can find my name
In the frost
On the windowpane.

You can find me
On the end
Of the phone.

I can come
In the mail
Every week.

When you're alone
Without love
I can be found
If you look around.

Until we come together again.

JUST ME

Did you hear
Me
When I
Said that
I
Love
You.

Did you see
You & I
Together
Or
Just
me?

JUST TO ME

If you were to walk
Through my door
You'd get me up
From my chair
And if you were to speak
Just to me
You'd win a friend
In short time

LAYING BACK AGAIN

Laying back again
Come share your mind
We've got plenty of time
Laying back again

I was used by her
Unaware of her game
I'm stretched out again
Across the ground

Laying back again
Where are all my friends
I've tasted the highs
But now I spend my time
Laying back again

It's a mellow tune
That blows through
It's another type of girl
With its same common end
Laying back again
On the ground
Laying back again

LETTERS

It's the letters
That I have sent
That tells you
How I feel
"I feel like some old engine
That has lost its driving wheel"
I want to tell you that I need you
I want to tell you that I love you
It's in the letters
That I have sent

LONG LEGS

The girl with the long legs in the
Long dress was moving across to me.
